This 4-week intensive course for farmers and gardeners will study the physical, chemical, and biological properties of healthy living soil, along with growing methods that work with nature to produce healthy plants and nutrient-dense food.
The landscape at Glenstone, a newly-constructed, contemporary art museum in Potomac, Maryland, received the ASLA Honor Award in 2019. Our day will combine classroom instruction with a heavy dose of field observation to illustrate how this landscape went from landscape plans to vibrant reality.
