Because current conditions might be keeping us at home, we’d like to extend an invitation to you to join the Gardens horticulture staff via streaming video and see how we’re getting our soils ready for another beautiful year. Because not all plants prefer the same kind of soil, we’re offering three separate online classes tailored to address three different growing applications. Our experts will discuss soils specific to various conditions and appropriate plant selection. Topics covered include a brief overview of soil basics, sustainable practices for building and managing healthy soils, fertility for plants, the importance of compost, and materials needed for specific applications.
