“Surf and Turf: Making Environmental Connections Between Landscaping and Long Island Sound“. In this presentation, Judy Preston, the Long Island Sound Study Connecticut Outreach Coordinator through Connecticut Sea Grant, will detail the environmental impact of lawn care practices on the Long Island Sound and freshwater systems in Connecticut; offering organic practices as a solution to restore the health of the Long Island Sound.
“Social Marketing” with Bernadette Giblin, AOLCP, is a 35-minute presentation that covers marketing and messaging your organic land care services to the public in order for them to adopt organic land care practices.
